Synchronize Options

Field Description
Life Event Master

Select this check box and click Execute to synchronize the Life Event master tables in Costpoint and Employee Self Service. Doing this creates life events in the Life Events drop-down list on the Workflow Options tab of the Self Service Configuration screen, based on life events found in Costpoint.

If you do not set up this synchronization to run on a schedule, you must run it whenever a new life event code is created in Costpoint or during system initialization.

New Life Events

Select this check box and click Execute to create employee desktop tasks in Employee Self Service for any life events that have been initiated for employees in Costpoint.

Deleted Life Events

Select this check box and click Execute to delete employee desktop tasks in Employee Self Service for any life event tasks that have been deleted from Costpoint.

Expired Life Events

Select this check box and click Execute to delete expired life event tasks in Employee Self Service from employee desktops.

New Benefits Enrollment

Select this check box and click Execute to create employee desktop tasks for Benefits Enrollment options in Costpoint.

Expired Benefits Enrollment

Select this check box and click Execute to delete expired benefits enrollment tasks in Employee Self Service from employee desktops.

Execute

Click Execute to execute synchronization.

Save Parameters

Select this function to name the parameter that you just created, so that you can recall it at a later time).

Code

Enter a code for the parameter that you are setting up.

Description

Enter a description of the parameter that you are setting up.

Public

If you select this check box, anybody who has rights to this screen will be able to view the parameter. If you do not select this check box, only you will be able to access this parameter.

OK

Click OK to save the parameters and close the Save Parameters dialog box.

New

Click New to add a new set of parameters.

Save

Click Save to save your parameter selections. This opens the Save Parameters dialog box, where you can finish saving your parameter setup.

Delete

Click Delete to delete existing parameters.

Search

Click Search to search existing parameters for editing.
